So, for how much I said the first game’s open world felt weird, the world in this game is not that far behind in how much exploring you can do once exploring at all is allowed. There are chunks of the world that are blocked off, especially Death Mountain, and little areas that you can see but not get to, most of which require warping in from the Dark World, but most of the Light World is explorable at this point. Of course, that’s only half the total game world…
Marvel on Film: Intro and 2000-2007 (X-Men, Spider-Man, Daredevil/Elektra)
I have fallen behind on Marvel’s movies, not seeing any since the pandemic (and I had missed Ant-Man and the Wasp even before then). Now, I am going to start a rewatch/catch-up project.
A Link to the Past: Night of the Falling Rain
It was a dark and stormy night…
Marvel Comics: The Pre-War Years (1939-1941), Part 3B: More Heroes, I-Z
intro
A Link to the Past: Introduction and Story
Opening thoughts on A Link to the Past.
The Adventure of Link: Finale
If you thought the game was hard up to this point… hoo boy.
Star Wars: The Old Republic – Knights of the Eternal Throne
Knights of the Fallen Empire ultimately made some good moves and some bad ones. I think it could have gone either way with how it’s remembered, but the followup expansion seemed like nothing but bad decisions and cemented the single-player story era as a low point in the game’s history.
The Adventure of Link: Island Palaces
Link takes on Maze Island and , then heads south for the final two towns.
Marvel Comics: The Pre-War Years (1939-1941), Part 3A: More Heroes, A-H
While Captain America, the Human Torch, Namor, the Angel, and the Young Allies were Marvel’s early stars, the anthology comics had lots of space to fill, and a bunch of colorful characters filled them. For the next two posts, I’ll be looking at the heroes who made more than one appearance in the Golden Age, excluding comedic characters like Officer O’Krime and Tubby an’ Tack. Even still, it’s a long list.
The Adventure of Link: Into the East
Link visits two dungeons on the west side of the sea, then two towns on the east side.
